This was the final “Music at Pingry” album that Tony duBourg was associated with. The cover art is a tribute to his years at Pingry, and inside are these words:
+
The Pingry Music Department would like to salute Mr. Antoine du Bourg for his unparalleled 47 years of support. Serving in literally every position possible in this department, from head, to choir director, to brass director, to organ builder, and even as master carpenter, Mr. du Bourg’s single-minded dedication and devotion to his students allowed the nascent music program he began to grow into the pillar of the Pingry community that it is today. We all wish him the very best n his retirement and dedicate this edition of the Music at Pingry to his untiring efforts for this department. +++
